Compiled List of Current Free/Discounted Education and Resources For the Entertainment Industry

Barbizon Lighting is compiling a list of discounted or free educational opportunities and tools for our industry.

The lights will come up again; in theatres, on film sets, museums, and theme parks. We as an industry will weather this storm together.

Behind the Scenes in conjunction with other concerned organizations and individuals have come together to create the Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Initiative. A series of tools and resources has been developed to not only help you but also assist you in helping your colleagues. Barbizon Lighting's extremely popular and impossible-to-keep-in-stock-to-meet-demand Electrician's Handbook has been updated and is now available electronically as an updated FREE app in Apple’s App Store and on Google Play for Android users!

ARRI has made available two of its Master Classes to watch online for free. The first being a five-part series on the high dynamic range with cinematographer Karl Walter LindenLaub, whose work includes Independence Day, Stargate, and The Jackal. The other handy item is the Arri Lighting Handbook by Bill Holshevnikoff.
